The Art Movement

The Art Movement was the first event by Combat Créatif — one night for about a hundred invited guests at Verci in Flatiron, May 9th, 2026, hosted with Jaden Clemons. The night ran in two halves. Downstairs, four featured artists — spanning music, sculpture, and spoken word — each took the room for ten minutes in whatever format served their work: a story, a performance, a demo. Upstairs, the roof: a DJ set moving through soul, jazz, R&B, and electronic, with open microphones and instruments — freestyles, cyphers, and dancing until late. The intention was simple: transfer creative inspiration directly from artist to audience, then give that energy somewhere to go.

Before it was a night it was a deck, a program, and an hour-by-hour rundown of the room. The deck framed the two halves; each featured artist received a three-page invitation laying out the format, the audience, and what we would provide; the announcement ran as two carousels on Instagram.
